UCFL Changing Hosts
UCFL is in the process of changing hosts. This will create some minor problems, so please bear with us as we try to rectify them and get the UCFL Website and Email restored to full working order.
Training set to be launched
Training will enter UCFL in Season 22, under the following format:
Training is UCFL is a youth training scheme that means players aged 20 or under at the start of a season can be trained. A maximum of 8 training points can be used per side in Pre Season. These need to be used before the UCFL Super Cup.
Training points are used to improve the minor skills of players, or the main skills of goalkeepers. No outfield player can have their main skill increased. Each side is allocated 3 training points for free. A further 5 can be bought at a cost of 1M for each training point.
Training points can be assigned to player(s) of the managers choosing, provided the club owns the players when assigning the training points. In the training of outfield players 1 training point = 1 minor skill increase. In the training of goalkeepers 2 training points = 1 St Skill increase.
The same player can have both minor skills increased, provided they are within the limits set.
Limits:
2 Points can be added to any minor skill if its 9 or below, 1 if 10 or above.
A minor skill must never equal or pass the main skill by training.
A GK can have their St skill boosted but this costs 2 training points and the skill can not be increased to equal or exceed the age of the player.
Foreign Offers to Return
After an absence of several seasons Foreign Offers is to return to UCFL next season.
In short the format is as follows:
12 offers a week
Each club will get 3 offers a season.
Team, player and percentage of value offered will be an automated process. Each team will get an offer a month.
The players values will be decided by the FA. From the FA sending out the offers each club has 7 days to decide whether or not to accept it.
New Predictions Game for Season 22
The current weekly predictions will change next season to the following:
6 random matches from throughout the UCFL leagues will be chosen each week. Managers will need to predict home, away or draw for all 6, and the only way to win is by getting all 6 correct. The prize will start at $5m and will increase by $1.5m each week until it is won. In the case of more than one manager correctly predicting all 6 results, the money will be shared.
